Blessing of WANG by the Abbot of Karsha Monastery.

A tibetan calendar holy month fasting (NUNGNEY ) by the people of the Zanskar valley. There are more than 200 people fasting during this holy month of tibetan calendar. It is believed by the people that the merits was double then the other day when you have to do merits work in this holy month. So people used to fast for 36 hours and prostration 5 to 6 times a day and pray for the rest of day.I think those were the lucky guys who fast and do some merits work in this holy months. People used to prostration for the long day during this month also, this months is auspicious for all the followers of buddha dharma.
