How To Remove Glue from Comic Books!

Flash Comics No. 20 Conservation Episode 4: Glue removal and archival tear seal.

In this video series we evaluate this golden age comic book--Flash Comics #20, from August 1941--for conservation and submission to CGC. In today’s video I will attempt to remove the amateur glue job and perform an archival tear seal!

The materials and methods I use are archival and are reversible. If done properly, they do not result in a purple restored label from CGC.
