Скачать или смотреть A Stack Train at Pine Street, Morning at Inman, a CSX Coal Train and Three NS Freights at the Gulch

We arrived at Howell wye as a CSX stack train was just passing so instead of setting up there we headed over to Pine street to catch it. It had a nice YN2 unit second. We follow it around the bend at what used to be Tilford yard and we take a turn and watch a minute or so of morning action at NS Inman yard. And one of the things that always happens when you chase after a train rather than staying where you are, you end up missing two or three other trains. As we can see there's an NS freight heading past Inman towards Howell wye. After the CSX stack has passed we chase the NS train all the way downtown and wait for it. It's stopped somewhere probably around Jefferson street but we do catch two trains moving side by side at the gulch. An NS freight heading towards of course Howell wye where we should have just set up and waited, and a loaded coal train heading north and into the CSX wye that goes under the streets and northwest to Abbeville. I don't know if this train came south through Howell and then reversed to head northwest or if this train came by way of Manchester. But a loaded coal train heading north is a bit odd. We fly back and forth and get a look at both trains and both have mid train DPU's that end up pacing each other for a bit. We also see the tail end of some marathon or charity walk or whatever on the street above the tracks. In the middle is another NS freight that we will see more of later at Howell wye. After those two have passed we finally see the NS freight we missed from earlier with a single unit up front and two DPUs mid train. We get a good view of the Mercedes Benz sport ball arena and downtown Atlanta as we cruise back and forth.
