This is a podcast video with Brigadier Brijendra Singh who had served in the 1971 Indo-Pak war in the Battle of Basantar. He was in the 17 Poona Horse and was commissioned into the Armored Regiment in 1971 as a Second Lieutenant. He had served with Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, PVC (P) and with the 17 Poona Horse being armed with British Centurion Tanks in the fighting against the Pakistani forces in the Shakargarh sector. He was also wounded in battle from Pakistani airstrikes during the war.
