We are proud to announce Joseph Agruso as the 2024/25 Snap-on Instructor of the Year! Congratulations, Joe! 🎉 Joe is extremely dedicated to his work and has a passion for student development and the Snap-on Technical Education Program.

The Snap-on Technical Education Program combines the benefits of STEM-focused instruction with third-party skill certifications. These certifications encompass a wide range of disciplines, including diagnostics, torque, vehicle information systems, multimeters, tool management, and more. To help facilitate these certifications, Snap-on works closely with the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), a network of education providers and corporations that support advances and validate new and emerging technology skills in the automotive, aviation, manufacturing, and energy industry sectors.

Agruso was nominated by several hundred of his students from Van Nuys High School, where he issues approximately 1700 Snap-on certifications each year. He attends Snap-on Train-the-Trainer programs in Kenosha, where he and others learn how to best teach certification curriculums to their students. Schools need to be at the forefront of innovation and training, and the curriculum Snap-on has developed helps educators like Agruso achieve that vision.

The partnership with NC3, schools, and educators provides students with the skills and tools they need to succeed.
