The Battle for the Iron Skillet is set to take place this Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas, as SMU and TCU renew their rivalry for the 104th time. This year's rivalry matchup also has the added importance of being the last time these two teams are currently scheduled to play each other. The Mustangs won a high-scoring shootout last season, 66-42. This year's game could be another high-scoring affair with both teams returning talented quarterbacks, with SMU's Kevin Jennings and TCU's Josh Hoover.
