1284 - First Wearable Eye Glasses.

1352 - Representation of Eyeglasses by Tomasso da Modena.

1600 - The First Eyeglass Frame Temple.

1604 - introduction of Concave and Convex Lenses.

1727 - The British optician Edward Scarlett perfected the temple glasses.

1825 - Cylindrical Lenses was invented by Sir George Airy.

1827 - Bifocals and Trifocals were introduced by John Isaac Hawkins, Benjamin Franklin.

1887 - Invention of the First Tolerable Contact Lense by F. E. Muller of Germany.

1900 - Zeiss Punktal Spherical Point-Focus Lenses.

1936 - The Creation of Plastic Lenses.

1959 - introduction of Soft (Hydrogel) Lenses.

2000s - Sunglasses.

2021 - Infarred Contact Lenses.
