Fun & simple - APRS via ISS 🛰️🌎 using a handheld radio and whip antenna

Using APRS with the International Space Station (ISS) digipeater is fun and simple. All you need is an APRS-capable handheld radio and whip antenna. In this video I'll demonstrate sending and receiving APRS packets via ISS using my Kenwood TH-D74 HT and a Diamond RH77CA whip antenna. Your radio only needs two settings adjusted - frequency of 145.825 MHz and digipath (pathname) of ARISS. I used the GoSatWatch iOS app for tracking the ISS.
