Once the show is over and the curtains cover the stage, it is time to pack up the backdrops and return them to one of our warehouses. Because of the size and the fact that all of our backdrops are hand-painted, it is important to properly fold them before packing. The best way to fold a theatrical backdrop is to place it on a clean, dry floor and get a few friends to help you. Place one or more people on each side of the backdrop and start slowly folding the backdrop. Then roll the backdrop starting from the side without ties. As you roll, flatten out some of the puffiness, so the backdrop is more compact and able to fit in the box it came in. Et voilà. Now the backdrop is ready to go back home.
