Saieen Zahoor Ahmed is a renowned Punjabi Sufi musician from Pakistan, known for his performances at Sufi shrines. He gained international recognition in 2006 after being nominated for the BBC World Music Awards. Though not literate, Zahoor memorizes lyrics from Sufi poets like Bulleh Shah, Sultan Bahu, and Muhammad Qadiri. He became famous for his appearances on Coke Studio and has performed globally, including in Norway, Belgium, and Dubai. His 2006 album Awazay and his contributions to the films Khuda Ke Liye (2007) and West Is West (2011) earned widespread acclaim. Saieen Zahoor Ahmed has an impressive discography that showcases his profound influence in Sufi music. He gained widespread recognition with his performances of songs such as "Toomba" and "Allah Hoo" from Coke Studio Season 2, as well as "Tere Ishq Nachaya" and "Ek Alif" from the same season. His other notable tracks include "Rabba Ho" and "Allah Hoo" from Coke Studio Season 6, and "Lagi Bina/Chal Mele Noon Challiye" from Coke Studio Season 9. Zahoor has also contributed to duckU Records with songs like "Alif Allah Nu," "Duniya Chalo Chali Da Mela," and "Maaye Ni Main Kinu Akhan." Additionally, he lent his voice to the title track of the film Mirzya (2016) and performed "Dill Da Kabah," further cementing his legacy as a pivotal figure in the Sufi music scene.
