I know Sand Harbor is in Nevada and not California!

However, I will still post about it because it’s close enough!!!

🏖️ Sand Harbor Beach has some of the most pristinely clear water I’ve seen in Lake Tahoe.

Here’s what you need to know!

🚗 Driving Times

3.5 - 4 hours from the Bay Area
2.5 hours from Sacramento
8 hours from L.A

💵 Entrance Fee

$10 for Nevada Registered Vehicles
$15 for Out of State Registered Vehicles

Pro Tip: I know you’ve heard this one before! However, arrive early during peak season hours!

We went during the winter, and it was not crowded at all.

But in the Spring and especially Summer, I’ve heard it can get CRAZY busy!!!

🦮 Pets are not allowed except for the off-season, which is October 15 through April 15.
