The journey of natural stone at Mekmar begins at the quarry, where we extract two distinct raw materials: big blocks and boulders. Each follows a unique path to transformation. Big blocks are sliced into expansive slabs by massive gangsaw machines, moving quickly to surface finishing to showcase their grand, natural veining. Meanwhile, boulders—once considered waste—are reimagined through a precise craft. They are cut into thick strips, split in half, and sized to meet specific order requirements. Unlike slabs, tiles undergo a more detailed journey of being surfaced, filled, and refined multiple times. Every piece is then carefully selected and packed in our warehouse, where the Mekmar team oversees every step from the first cut to the final shipment, ensuring the mountain’s potential perfectly transforms your space.
