In this video, I’ll show you how you can find unread messages in Messenger. If you’ve got a bunch of messages hiding somewhere and you’re not sure where they are, don’t worry—I’ve got you covered.

Let’s get started without any delay.
First, open your Messenger app. Once you’re on the home screen, swipe down to refresh your chat list. This will make sure your app is fully updated with the latest messages, including any unread ones.

Now, here’s the trick to spotting unread messages.
Look at the chat names on your list—any name that appears in bold usually means it’s unread. These are messages you haven’t opened yet. In some versions of Messenger, you might also see a filter or tab for “Unread Chats” to make it even easier.

If you don’t see this feature, don’t worry.
It might be because your app version doesn't currently support it. In that case, just scroll through your chats and look for bold text or message previews that indicate new content. Make sure your app is updated from the App Store or Play Store for best results.
