Perhaps the most storied home in all of Marin actually has its origins across the Bay in San Francisco. The home today at 8 W Shore Rd was actually built in 1904 in Pacific Heights and fell into disrepair. It was going to be demolished and the site was going to be used for condos. But before the wrecking ball came, an architect purchased the home, sawed it in half, and shipped it across the Bay and rebuilt it where it stands today. The home is absolutely gorgeous and underwent an incredible renovation before selling last year for a whopping $10,925,000.
