Redressal of pensioners’ grievances on CPENGRAMS Portal
• Grievance shall be redressed under ‘Whole of the Government approach”. If the grievance is not pertained to the same it should be forwarded to the concerned GRO (Grievance Redressal Officers). If the concerned don’t know the Map it can be routed through the Nodal officer of the department or DOPPW.
• A coordinated approach across ministries ensuring that grievances cannot be dismissed without proper resolution.
• In no case it should be closed as it does not pertain to this office.
• No grievance shall be closed without final outcome accruing to the applicant.
• Since most of them are monetary in nature Action taken report filed at the time of closure of grievance.
• All ministries/departments should strive to redress the pensioners grievances within 21 days. If it requires longer time an interim reply may be furnished in the portal. It should contain the reason for the delay and the expected timeline of redressal of grievance.
• Upon closure of grievance an appeal can be preferred against the redressal of the grievance within 30 days.
• That appeal should be disposed within 30 days of receipt of appeal. A speaking orders should be issued.
• Grievance applications filed in physical form shall be uploaded in CPENGRAMS Portal to ensure proper monitoring.
