Discovering the true cause of a young woman's seizures

Megan Davis had her first seizure two days before her 19th birthday. Since being diagnosed with epilepsy, she has continually fought to find the right treatment to control, and hopefully cure, her condition.

After years of failed treatments, Davis was referred to the UC Irvine Health Comprehensive Epilepsy Program — a Level 4 epilepsy center— where epilepsy experts discovered the true cause of her seizures and offered unique treatment options to manage and potentially cure her epilepsy.
