Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis (GBA) playthrough ~Longplay~

This is a playthrough of Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.

Sonic Genesis is an infamous 2006 port of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, which suffers from inexcusable framerate issues while also being hindered by the GBA's smaller screen resolution.

The problems go much further than this, though. The warped momentum makes it nearly impossible to control Sonic once you've built up speed, and jumps often fall short for what seems like no explainable reason.

The general presentation isn't exactly cash either, given the weird audio issues. I swear sometimes certain sound effects (jumping, picking up rings, hitting bumpers etc.) just don't play at all.

My favourite thing is how I went out of my way to get a clean no-hit run of this game, for the game to take a hit by itself once it takes control off you during the credits.
