Roman Numeral Records are thrilled to announce the release of the acclaimed Norwegian experimental ambient artist Benjamin Finger’s new album “Beyond”, out on May 3, 2024, on highly limited vinyl edition and digital formats.

Benjamin Finger was educated at Oslo Photo Art School and UIB before he started to study film to become a director. He has done several short films, music videos and various photo exhibitions, besides working for television, NRK. He is now a freelancer and have been composing music since 2005, having released numerous solo albums and collaborations since, including “We Carry The Curse” with James Plotkin, also released via Roman Numeral in 2020.

“Beyond” is a vivid and beautiful, yet oddly haunting album made up of three songs, each of which take the listener to a gripping journey through the space and time within one’s own consciousness. Being an empathic and spiritual experience, the ambiances and tonalities crafted as colossal aural textures woven at Finger’s will constitute a surprisingly accessible, though all the more rewarding listening experience.
