MAP vs Alpha N, what are ITB's and why are they a popular modification on a naturally aspirated engine chasing better performance?

In this [TECH TALK] Andre rounds off on some of key points and advantages of an individual throttle body (ITB) setup including the ability to focus on power at higher or lower RPMs via the trumpet length and also what trade-offs this can cause.

Also discussed is how the tuning process for ITB's is different when it comes to the usual MAP sensor and Speed Density principle not being ideal for NA ITB setups. Instead, Alpha N is used which sees throttle position replace manifold pressure as a load input, while RPM, of course, remains the other part of the equation.
