Way back before every 1 got all their media and video game news from the internet , some middle class citizens used to actually look forward to watching witty tv hosts commentating on stuff on CRT 4:3 format tv's about video games. A channel which existed on cable / satellite tv was originally called "ZDTV," (Ziff Davis, I think...?) Then TechTV took over. Then it game G4 tv. Actually I think there was originally just G4TV, but I didnt' get that channel in the house I was in cause of not enough moneys. ZDtv was separate. Then channels merged and stuff.
