Zooming in and out between different levels of forest management – this conference aimed to provide a platform to discuss emerging scenarios and issues facing the forestry sector in India.

The session on Climate Change focused on the challenges, key drivers of technological innovation, role of private sector, finance, convergence of the various authorities dealing with forestry and climate change, vulnerability of Himalayas to climate change and role of local communities in implementation of policies and ecosystem restoration under the Bonn Challenge.
