Solar Hot Air Aluminum Downspout Collector In The Making

I built this solar collector to heat my new workshop. I haven't finished yet as my free time and energy has been spent elsewhere. That said, I thought uploading these pics would help some other folks interested in a DIY solar project. Let me explain a little. This is built with wolmanized lumber, lined with silverboard and sealed with high temp silicon. The aluminum downspouts are painted with high heat stove paint. If you notice the curves in the silverboard, that was done for maximum airflow as sharp corners will create dead space in the airflow. In theory, the air will travel from a solar ran PC fan into the chamber down through 5 spouts returning through 5 spouts and out to building. I've yet to test this other than running an ac fan through the enclosure. One thing to note, make sure to build the box around a glazing material. I am now faced with the challenge of finding a usable glazing material to fit this box. Hope you like my idea.
