A sudden fire broke out at a large cloth warehouse near the NLC Bypass on Latoon Khanewal Road. Rescue 1122 teams quickly responded, dispatching fire vehicles, motorbike ambulances, and rescue units to the scene.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the warehouse covers approximately two kanals with a 40-foot-high roof and was packed with cloth bales, which fueled the flames. Firefighters launched an operation from two sides and managed to control about 30% of the fire within 40 minutes.

During the firefighting operation, the electricity supply in the area was temporarily shut down via WAPDA control to prevent further hazards. Police and relevant departments were also present at the site. The fire has now been brought under control, and cooling efforts are currently underway.
