The ZTE MC889 is a 5G sim LTE wireless mobile cellular home broadband internet router that is designed to be used outdoors. Being outside the ZTE MC899 has better 5G and 4G signal reception compared to a router that is indoors that has to contend with various obstacles that reduce the cellular 5G and 4G radio signals, such as walls and windows etc.

This package also combines the ZTE T3000 WiFi 6 wireless router for your indoor WiFi. Which also includes 4 gigabit Ethernet ports. The MC899 and T3000 connect via Ethernet using POE power over Ethernet to power the MC889.

In the video I show what’s in the box, how it all connects together. I also do a speed test comparison between the MC889 indoors and outdoors so you can clearly see the advantage of a router being outdoors and much better it performs.
