The Pindos mountains make up the mountainous spine of western Greece, stretching all the way from the Albanian border to the Peloponese peninsula. These gorgeous mountains rise as high as 2637 m at the Smolikas peak, and due to being so rugged and rocky they're often called the Greek Alps.
