Combining the darker side of folk, achingly beautiful country and a hint of something heavier, El Morgan and The Divers refuse to conform to expectations. At home in beautiful music hall venues, folk clubs and basement bars alike; this genre defying band is a wonderful anomaly - one that has turned a multitude of inspiration and talent into a sound of its own and garnered new fans at every show. Sombrely melancholic and delivered with steely sincerity, these songs are dark and meditative, though often tinged with a vital glimmer of hope.

Loved and respected by fans and peers alike, El Morgan has drawn comparisons to the likes of PJ Harvey, Neko Case and Laura Marling. In 2017 she was the sole UK support for Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape and has previously performed alongside Lucero, William Elliott Whitmore, Austin Lucas and Ben Marwood; to name but a few.

The Hippaes' Falmouth debut follows a year playing a spattering of gigs across the South Coast and releasing two EPs, one through London-based Keroleen Records. Fronted by punk veteran Kelly Kemp, this incarnation includes members of ex-punks Bangers and Attack!! Vipers!! playing punk-friendly dirty pop-rock songs for your pleasure.
