Описание к видео Dr. Brian Latell on "Cuba, Castro, and the CIA" at AFIO June 2012 Luncheon

Presentation by distinguished former CIA Latin America/Caribbean
expert, Brian Latell, PhD, author of Castro's Secrets: The CIA
and Cuba's Intelligence Machine, to AFIO [the Association of Former Intelligence Officers] at their June 1, 2012 luncheon in McLean, Virginia. Dr. Latell discusses a few of the controversies uncovered in his new book on Castro, Cuban Spies, and the JFK Assassination. Did cunning, clever Cuban intelligence run circles around US Intelligence? Did Castro know of the various Kennedy-brothers motivated attempts (via CIA) on his own life, and did Castro passively or actively participate in payback: the assassination of President JFK by Lee Harvey Oswald and possibly others? Includes welcome and introduction by S. Eugene Poteat, former CIA Science & Technology officer, who serves as current president of AFIO. The program runs approximately 50 minutes.
