Was God of War: Ascension As Bad As I Remember?

When I think of PlayStation, I think of God of War. The series is as influential as it get's in the gaming industry and Kratos is just as iconic. I am incredibly nostalgic towards the God of War series and I think that was abundantly apparent in my retrospectives about the series so far. However, a title amongst this series that seems all but forgotten or at least forgettable is God of War: Ascension. I remember enjoying Ascension back in the day but it definitely is a game I have since forgotten personally, maybe this is a bit of a lost gem though? Well, that's what we'll be finding out today. How does God of War: Ascension hold up 8 years later and is it worth your time revisiting or playing for the first time? Let's find out!
