Algonquin's Hidden Gem: Paddling to an Island Camp on Tim River

In this spring Canoe camping adventure we set off to Algonquin Park and take a trip down the Tim River. You don't have to go far in this lush wilderness area to find a tranquil spot! We spend a couple nights on an island campsite fishing, hiking, exploring, and spotting some wildlife. Algonquin is famous for it's moose population, will we finally get to see our first moose or is that just a click-bait thumbnail?!

Did you know June is a common time for all kinds of bug hatches, not just mosquitos and black flies? We get a front row seat to a dragonfly hatch while also being pestered by other common Ontario insects.
