This is one of the most fascinating puffers to keep in a community setup, so relax, unwind, and enjoy the feeding action, tank ambience, and up-close behavior shots.

Amazon Puffers (Colomesus asellus) are incredibly active, intelligent, and social pufferfish. Unlike many puffers, they can work in a community tank when conditions are right — plenty of space, fast-moving tankmates, strong filtration, and lots of environmental enrichment. Watching them hunt ghost shrimp is not only enriching for them, but also an amazing way to observe their natural instincts in a safe, controlled environment.
