Katong - Singapore's 1st Heritage Town (part 2) [4K]

Katong is the name for a species of sea turtle that is no longer found in Singapore. Katong/Joo Chiat has been designated as Singapore's 1st Heritage Town by the National Heritage Board in 2011. This area is rich in Peranakan (Straits Chinese) culture and is popular for it's food and architecture.
