Integration By Parts - Calculus I

Описание к видео Integration By Parts - Calculus I

In this video, I will show you how to solve integrals using Integration By Parts. You should use integration by parts when you cannot solve the integral with u substitution or trigonometric substitution. Usually, integrals that can be solved by integration by parts will have two parts in the integrand, the u part and the v part. We use the acronym LIATE, which stands for log, inverse trigonometric, algebra, trigonometric, and exponent, to solve integration by part integrals. In this video, I will go over many practice problems with integration by parts, and I will also show you where the formula comes from. It is an important topic that calculus students will learn either in high school or in university. The formula is the integral of u dv is equal to u times v minus the integral of v times du. We pick u and v based on the liate rule.
