Not long until we move the Reliant for the first time under its own power in 25+ years!

We have replaced one tyre, pumped the other two up, replaced the lower coolant hose and replaced the spark plugs.

The engine starts instantly! It still runs a little lumpy. I think it’s an air leak. Even on the vacuum wipers or the flange gasket on the manifold. But it runs well enough above idle to move her.

She doesn’t leak any coolant and builds 45lbs of oil pressure at idle. Amazing pressure for a side valve engine.
