18th Century Frontier Gear Review with Nathan Kobuck

FTC IS BACK! Thank you for bearing with me as I brought my final year of college to a close. Now the channel is back, and I'm so excited to share all that I've learned off-screen!

This is a comprehensive review of the gear that I am currently carrying in my 18th-century frontiersman kit. I have spent 8 years in this hobby, but recently, throughout college, I have started to read period sources and strive for greater accuracy with my historical campouts and accouterments.

Please remember that I am still progressing in this hobby. My camping and gear review videos are, more than anything, a log of my progress so far. I want to enable others who cannot travel to events like the School of the Longhunter to get a front-row seat in discussions like this one for the benefit of the entire community.

Nathan Kobuck has been a part of said community for longer than I have been alive. I have tremendous respect for the work he has put into his understanding of the time period and I feel so fortunate to call him a mentor.
