This video explains the difference between plugin and standalone modes in Bias FX 2. If you're wondering what the difference between these two modes is, then hopefully this video will explain it to you. Basically, standalone mode is for when you want to use Bias FX like a normal guitar amp just to play your guitar through e.g. for practising, whereas plugin mode is to "plug-in" to another piece of software like a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) for when you want to record your guitar and use BIAS FX to provide the guitar sound.
