Recently I made a garden tour video showcasing all the fruits and vegetables that I'm growing here in the Austin Texas area, in June 2022. Only two weeks later, the heatwave is really getting to the cucumber vines.

This summer we've been experiencing a pretty intense heatwave and drought in central Texas, and its causing the dense clay soil in our backyard to to split apart. I think this is no big deal, but I'm curious if this could impact my home's foundation, has anyone seen ground fissures like this cause a slab crack? Let me know in the comments!
