This video shows how to speedrun Mission 5 in MechAssault.
Gameplay in this video was done on "green" difficulty and was played on the Cxbx-Reloaded emulator.
The mech used for the mission is the "Puma."

Note
1. The only required objective for this mission:
Destroy all the boats
2. Sometimes the mission won't end after destroying all the boats. If this happens, and to prevent it, simply move your mech away from the base with the draw bridges and the mission should end.
3. Jump jets will move faster diagonally if the x-axis and y-axis move inputs are at full strength. The Puma’s jump jets will move at 42.426 speed diagonally. On the xbox console, this can be done with 3rd party controllers such as Mad Catz or Old Skool. On PC, this can be done with using keyboard.

The average completion times are based on console load times if the game is running off the disc. If you are running the game from the hard drive of the console or on a PC, the average completion times are shorter.
