Will it work for the occasional needed log roll?

The CANT HOOK was created to help roll logs on sawmills. A log with one or more slabs cut is called a "cant." Sometime in the 1850s, inventor and blacksmith Joseph Peavey developed the "peavey" as an improvement for some situations where a person needed to separate logs in a pile and then move or rotate the logs.

The peavey shines when being picked up and dropped to do multiple tasks. It can be stabbed into the ground and remain accessible without bending over. It also helps to gain leverage to move or stop a log by pivoting on the ground instead of the log.

Can I make a hybrid?
