2018, Nov 20. The old Madras raftered building, complete with loft and beams, pillars and well still stands in great grandeur at Kanchipuram on the Raja Veedhi. Thousands of students have passed through these ancient doors. One of the gurus who taught here is himself called a Kula Pati, a title for one who has taught a thousand students!!! Following in the Kanva Shakha of Yājñavalkya, this school continues to thrive despite the odds thanks to the Grace fo the Jagadguru and the Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam.
