Christians Prepare For Martyrdom To Fight Gay Marriage

"Cenk Uygur (  / cenkuygur  ) and Ana Kasparian (  / anakasparian  ) hosts of The Young Turks discuss statements by conservative broadcaster Sandy Rios that the United States Supreme Court ruling in favor of marriage equality would lead to Christians being arrested or killed.

American Family Association director of governmental affairs Sandy Rios spoke to a gathering recently. She claimed that if the U.S. Supreme Court struck down all state laws banning gay marriage that homosexuals would take time out of their day from choosing matching outfits and adopting beautiful Asian children with unique names to arrest and martyr Christians. She wasn't nearly that clear about the whole statement, but the rest was heavily implied.

She pointed to Massachusetts, where gay marriage is legal, as an example of what could happen to the nation while failing to cite any specific examples. We'll assume she meant the drop in crime over the last twenty years."
