Just a quick fun build I did under the advice of a friend. He suggested it so I modeled it up and printed it out.

Now we all have no excuses anymore! If you're having a bad day on the water you have no choice but to throw the kitchen sink at them, they have to bite it...It's like fate...or something.

I did the main sink design in Fusion 360 and then the full assembly of the lure in TinkerCAD because I had some of the cotter pin dimensions already in TinkerCAD so I figured I would piece the multiple STL's together in TinkerCAD to save some time. It seemed to work out well. I'm not sure if I am actually going to fish with this crankbait or not as it probably won't really work...but I guess that's not the point. I have to use it to say I even threw the Kitchen Sink!

If you want one of these for yourself I'll post the file to thingiverse and you can give it a go, I think most printers should be able to handle it if you pay attention to angles and what supports your printer can handle. Just be sure to treat the faucet portion really gently as it may break off.

I think this was a good little project that shows the versatility of 3D printing in the outdoor space and shows how fun some of us anglers can be...well at least when we actually go fishing...which I swear I will do when I get some time!
