Dhaiwala Aloo - Vegetarian Recipe

Dahi Wale Aloo or simply Dahi Aloo is a Punjabi style curry dish, I have boiled the potatoes and then shallow fried it. But some do fry it directly. Dhaiwala Aloo is best served with puris.

Potatoes are very versatile, you can use them in any form. Be it fried, boiled, baked, as well as in gravies.

List of Ingredients

500 gm baby potatoes
1/2 cup curds
Salt as per taste
Oil as required
2 tsp coriander seeds powder
3/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder
1 tsp pepper powder
3/4 tsp cumin seeds powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 red chilly
1 tsp asafoetida
1 onion chopped
1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
Chopped coriander leaves
1/2 garam masala powder
1 tsp sugar
