Metrix+ MT 12A is an infrared thermometer or pyrometer useful to measure temperature of surfaces, upto 1150°C/ 2102°F, in a contactless and convenient way. It has an infrared sensor which measures the infrared radiation emitted by most surfaces, and shows it in °C or °F scale. It has a distance-to-spot ratio of 50:1, which means, at a distance of 50ft, temperature of a spot size of 1ft is measured. It is useful in boilers, furnaces, electronics, metal manufacturing, molds industries, etc.
