Moonlight Valley is my bachelor thesis film I finished back in early 2023. It's an animated 2D and 3D hybrid which was made in the timespan of three months.

Here's a brief description:
Luna, a Shiba Inu dog, stumbles upon a mysterious valley unknown to her and discovers something unexpected. A realization about herself and an encounter with a strange-looking lynx shows her that not everything is as it seems at first glance. -

I wanted to challenge myself with this project and therefore decided to make it an animated hybrid while having just little 3D animation experience. Some of the shots are a bit improvised and rushed due to the timeframe I had available to make this movie, but overall I'm still really happy with the outcome.

‪@Luyeshin‬ actually helped me to clean up some of the shots, huge shoutout to her, I would'nt have been able to finish in time without her!

Also credits to Ralph Wegner for creating the beautiful soundtrack and Kaushik Aryan for rigging 3D Luna :)
