How to start a Snowblower

Описание к видео How to start a Snowblower

Showing what to do when trying to start and operate a snowblower.
One of the first things to do is check if you have enough gas in the tank. Also ensure that the gas is not too old and still good. Of the gas is old, it may not work as good - or at all - any more. Empty out the tank if necessary. Then also make sure the shutoff valve is open. The valve is most often located someplace underneath the gas tank.
Next I always check the oil level by pulling out the dip stick. There is an indicator on the dip stick, showing if you have enough oil in the engine. Do not try to run the engine without enough oil in it. Also make sure not to have to much oil in it. In the video the oil looks pretty old and should be replaced.
Before trying to start the engine, set the choke to fully open and the throttle to about half way.
After pushing the primer bulb, use the pull rope or the electric starter - if your snowblower has one - to start the engine.

To operate the snowblower we have only a few things to consider.
1. The crank directs the snow chute. It helps you guide the snow wherever it is supposed to go
2. Use the left lever to engage the auger
3. Use the right lever to move the snowblower
4. Use the lever in the middle to adjust the gear. Remember to never operate this lever while the snowblower is moving!
