That sums up the sentiment of Senator Dr. Amery Browne, Leader of Opposition Business in the Senate, as he addressed the Opposition Press Conference held today (3 March 2026) on matters surrounding Trinidad and Tobago's foreign affairs and international relations. "There is no sector in which this UNC government has distinguished themselves, certainly not in a positive light, and we have to reflect on the external relations and foreign affairs sector as being one of those in which they've really tarnished the reputation of Trinidad and Tobago significantly, and I dare say, consistently, the most recent debacle being the Prime Minister's atrocious and shameful performance at the CARICOM Heads of Government Conference in St. Kitts recently."
