During the Korean War (1950-1953), the U.S. Air Force (primarily the Far East Air Force FEAF), under the framework of the United Nations Command, launched large-scale air attacks against the North Korean People's Army (KPA) ground forces. These attacks mainly included close air support (CAS), interdiction, and strategic bombing, with the aim of weakening the North Korean advance, disrupting supply lines, and supporting UN ground forces. After the U.S. quickly gained air superiority, the North Korean air force was almost completely destroyed and unable to effectively resist, thus allowing U.S. aircraft to freely attack ground targets.

朝鮮戦争（1950～1953年）中、アメリカ空軍（主に極東空軍）は国連軍司令部の枠組みの下、北朝鮮人民軍地上部隊に対して大規模な航空攻撃を実施した。これらの攻撃は主に近接航空支援（CAS）、阻止、戦略爆撃で構成され、北朝鮮の進撃を弱め、補給線を断絶し、国連地上部隊を支援することを目的としていた。アメリカが急速に制空権を掌握した後、北朝鮮空軍はほぼ壊滅し、効果的な抵抗は不可能となり、アメリカ軍機は地上目標を自由に攻撃することができた。

Durante la Guerra de Corea (1950-1953), la Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos (principalmente la Fuerza Aérea del Lejano Oriente (FEAF), bajo el mando de las Naciones Unidas, lanzó ataques aéreos a gran escala contra las fuerzas terrestres del Ejército Popular de Corea del Norte (EPC). Estos ataques incluyeron principalmente apoyo aéreo cercano (CAS), interdicción y bombardeo estratégico, con el objetivo de debilitar el avance norcoreano, interrumpir las líneas de suministro y apoyar a las fuerzas terrestres de la ONU. Tras la rápida superioridad aérea de Estados Unidos, la fuerza aérea norcoreana quedó prácticamente destruida e incapaz de ofrecer una resistencia eficaz, lo que permitió a las aeronaves estadounidenses atacar libremente objetivos terrestres.
