Ever poured your project only to see tiny air bubbles ruining your perfect pour? In today's video we break down most common reasons for resin bubbles forming.

💧 Viscosity matters! Low viscosity resin flows easily and traps less air during mixing, meanwhile high viscosity resin is thick, and it’s easy to introduce excess air into it. Higher viscosity resins need longer, more thorough mixing – mix for 3-5 minutes and make sure to scrap the sides of your mixing vessel as well.

🌡️ Temperature is one of the key factors – warmer resin becomes thinner, and cool resin thickens. Warm up your resin and hardener a little before mixing! Always make sure that your workspace is at 22-25 degrees Celcius.

🎨 Choose the right type of resin for your project. Different resins have different characteristics and are designed for different purposes. Arts & Crafts and Table Top resins are mixed in a 1:1 ratio, and for Deep Pour the ratio is 2:1!

🧑‍🔬 Always test a tiny amount of resin before pouring a large project to make sure you know how to combat air bubbles!
