Maria Island Tasmania. Best Place in Tas???

We visit Maria Island of the coast of Tasmania, Australia. It didn't take us long for fall in love with this amazing place. A nature lovers paradise. Getting close to such amazing creatures such as Wombats and the once endangered Cape Barren Geese. The natural beauty of the island is also scattered with the historic man made features that are a reminder of what the island once was.
The island does not permit any motor vehicles and access is possible by a passenger ferry from Triabunna which is just over one hours drive from Hobart.
Camping is permitted on the island but you would have to be well prepared as there is no shops on the island for any food or water and you would have to carry your camping gear from the ferry site to the camping grounds. But it would a great way to explore more of the island.
