Helsinki's Epic Swedish Vintage Car Parade: 2024 in Stunning 4K UHD!

The Classic Car Parade aimed to honor the legacy of classic cars, offering the public a unique opportunity to witness and experience the automotive splendor of bygone decades. This year marked the third installment of this grand event in Helsinki, culminating in a spectacular police-led parade. The parade featured an array of stunning classic cars driving through the picturesque Kaivopuisto area, concluding with an impressive exhibition at the Senate Square.

The parade kicked off from Kaivopuisto Park around 11:00 AM, making its way to the Senate Square by noon. The event at Senate Square continued from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Prime locations to enjoy the car parade included Kaivopuisto Park, the Market Square, and Senate Square. Admission was free, and the event was open to everyone.

This year, the event showcased a delightful blend of Finnish and Swedish automotive heritage, with Tallink Silja ferrying a plethora of classic cars from Stockholm to Helsinki. Finnish car enthusiasts also displayed their cherished vehicles, making this a truly cross-cultural celebration.

At the Senate Square, attendees got an up-close look at cars over 30 years old, with the majestic white Cathedral providing a stunning backdrop. The event included a car show and various programs. All participating cars were automatically entered into an evaluation competition, where the most beautiful cars from Finland and Sweden were judged and awarded.

Finland Adventure brought you this fantastic opportunity to indulge in the charm of vintage automobiles amidst the vibrant cityscape, all at no cost. Registration was open, with a limited number of vehicles accepted. Priority was given to pre-registered participants, and joining the event was free.
